The "make something, anything, every weekend challenge" . . .

come on, it will be fun!

Life is changing, it always is ~ shifting and moving.  2015 is a year of making noise, creating happiness, facing fear and becoming more grounded and peaceful.

This year, for me, is full of travels ~ back-and-forth ~ going northwest every time I can to care for and spend time with my mom who is sick.  Then hurrying back to home, getting ready for the weeks which are busy and full.  And all of this is good, but one shift often necessitates another then another and so on and so forth.  So, Trey and I have shut down Studio Rewind, for now anyway.  In order to make more time for family, it was time to release our little space the The Space at 1412.  February was our first month of "freedom" and it has felt good.

However, the weather has kept me grounded more weekends than I planned.  So I am experiencing something I haven't experienced in a very long time ~ a weekend, with no work!!! What???

These blocks of 48 hours have been filled to the brim with resting, BBC series, reading, writing, taking walks, having dates, having brunch with my friends, spending time hanging out with my daughter, baking, cooking, and making a bit of art.  All of this free time has got to me thinking of a little challenge ~ a "Make Something, Anything, Every Weekend Challenge".  I (and sometimes Ella and sometimes Trey) will be showcasing something we make with our wide open, spacious weekends.  Anything from homemade granola, to a garden guild (don't know what this is? stay tuned) ~ art work to repurposing of vintage furniture.  Almost anything goes, including "making a good garage sale" and "making a fun adventure".  So we will see what transpires.

Life is all about what we create, literally life is what we make it ~ so we are going to share some of our life journey, the "making" that goes into the creations that make us smile, cry, wince, jump with joy ~ it is all about the process.  Let's have some fun.
